Note: This collection comes as an un-lacquered brass finish. Without a lacquer coating, polished brass will naturally patina over time. We can apply a high-strength lacquer coating to each of the pieces - this is an option for this collection. Not all of the items are made at the exact same time, so while the pieces in the collection may not have the exact same color in the first few weeks, over time they will all patina to the same desired vintage appearance.
This decadent collection of high fashion knobs and pulls will uplift and advance any piece of furniture or cabinet they adorn. The Louis XIII style or Louis Treize was a fashion in French art and architecture, especially effecting the visual and decorative arts. Its distinctness as a period in the history of French art has much to do with the regency under which Louis XIII began his reign (1610–1643). His mother and regent, Marie de' Medici, imported mannerism from her homeland of Italy and the influence of Italian art was to be strongly felt for several decades.
